This project is source-available for learning, research, personal evaluation,
and non-commercial experimentation only.

1. Permitted use

You may use, copy, modify, and run this software for:

- personal learning and research;
- non-commercial security, privacy, and product evaluation;
- local experiments on data and accounts you are authorized to access;
- educational demos that do not generate revenue or commercial advantage.

2. Prohibited use

You may not use this software, in whole or in part, for:

- commercial services, paid products, consulting delivery, SaaS, hosted
  dashboards, paid reports, resale, lead generation, or other revenue-generating
  activity;
- monitoring, scraping, profiling, exporting, or analyzing third-party WeChat
  data without proper authorization;
- automated WeChat actions, including but not limited to sending messages,
  adding friends, joining groups, liking, commenting, reading or operating on
  Moments, modifying profiles, or any other write/social action;
- evading platform restrictions, bypassing access controls, abusing accounts,
  violating WeChat/Tencent rules, or interfering with any third-party service;
- any unlawful, infringing, harassing, surveillance, spam, fraud, or privacy-
  violating activity.

3. Tencent and WeChat disclaimer

This project is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, authorized by,
or connected to Tencent, WeChat, or wx-cli. WeChat and Tencent trademarks belong
to their respective owners. This project is an independent research tool.

4. User responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

- confirming that your use complies with applicable laws, platform terms,
  organizational policies, and group member expectations;
- protecting accounts, local databases, logs, screenshots, exports, and
  credentials;
- obtaining all required permissions before reading, storing, processing, or
  summarizing chat data;
- accepting any account, data, compliance, operational, or business risk caused
  by your use or misuse of the software.

5. No warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY
KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT,
AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY, SECURITY, OR COMPATIBILITY WITH ANY VERSION OF WECHAT,
WX-CLI, NODE.JS, OPERATING SYSTEM, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICE.

The authors do not guarantee that the software will work, remain compatible,
avoid account restrictions, prevent data loss, produce correct summaries, or
comply with any platform rule or legal requirement.

Documentation, comments, examples, and generated outputs are for general
information only and are not legal, compliance, security, or professional

8. Termination

Any use outside the permitted scope terminates your rights under this license
immediately. You must stop using the software and delete any copies if you do
not agree to these terms.
